Ministry Needs

Precious Pearls Children Outreach exists to help street children in Eldoret Kenya gain access to education, a key element in breaking the vicious cycle of poverty in the region. Street children are orphaned largely as a result of the effects of the HIV / AIDS pandemic. There are large numbers of street children in Kenya’s urban centers, many of whom fall into illegal activities such as theft and drug trafficking. These children fall victim to child labor practice and child prostitution as they attempt to survive on the street. The prostitution results in teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, which continues the cycle of HIV/AIDS and poverty. We want to provide these children with access to Christian education, empowering them physically, academically and spiritually to live in a way that breaks the cycle.

Of the 9.1 million double orphans in sub-Saharan Africa in 2005, around 5.2 million, or almost 60 per cent, had lost at least one of their parents to AIDS. Without AIDS, the total number of double orphans in sub-Saharan Africa would have declined between 1990 and 2010. AIDS, however, will push the number of double orphans in the region to more than 10 million by 2010. (UNICEF)

Patner with us

We are currently seeking prayers and support materially, financially from church organizations, private organizations; missions, pastors, individuals and friends to assist us make our dreams a reality. Our children are in school. They need food, clothing, school uniforms, tuition, stationary, text books and medical attention. Whenever we take these little children in, they normally malnourished, sick and do not know how to read and write.

Our urgent need now is a land to build an academy, a home, a clinic and an outreach centre to monitor our mission outreaches and to supply food and clothes.
